How to Add and Manage Venue Locations
Add your venue locations and pin them exactly on the map — so guests always find the right spot.
What are locations?
Locations are reusable venue entries (e.g., "Grand Ballroom", "City Temple") that you attach to individual events in your invitation. Once a location is saved, you can reuse the same venue across multiple events without re-entering the address each time — and editing a location's details updates every event that points to it.
Opening the venue picker
In the editor, open the Events timeline (from the Sections panel, or by tapping the events section on the invitation itself), then tap any event and tap Choose a venue. This opens the venue picker with all your saved locations.
Step 1 — Add a location
Tap + Add new location in the venue picker. A sheet opens with:
- Location name — e.g., "Grand Ballroom", "City Temple", "Anand Mahal"
- Address — the full venue address including city and state
Step 2 — Place the map pin
The same sheet has an interactive map. Here's how to get the pin exactly right:
- Tap Locate on map to auto-search based on the name and address you entered.
- If it lands in the wrong spot — common for smaller towns or newly built venues — click the exact location on the map to drop a pin there instead.
- Drag the pin to fine-tune the position.
- Coordinates save automatically as you place or move the pin — no separate save step for the map.
Step 3 — Save and attach it
Tap Save location (or Done when editing the venue directly). Back in the venue picker, tap the location and confirm with Use this venue to attach it to the event you're editing.
Editing and deleting locations
From the venue picker, tap the pencil icon on any location to edit it, or the minus icon to remove it. If a location is attached to one or more events ("Used in X events"), deleting it removes the venue from those events too.
Multiple functions? No problem.
You can create separate locations for Mehendi, Sangeet, and Reception — each with its own map pin — and attach the right venue to each event.
