Each one built the same way — a curated design showcase, its own sample content, and one tap to start. Not a wedding page with the names swapped out.
Every change below traces back to the same realization: the builder itself was never wedding-specific — only the copy and content around it were.
The problem
Every visitor was funneled into a wedding invitation, even if they were actually planning a birthday party, a baby shower, or a housewarming.
7 new occasions
7 new occasions now exist as first-class options — Birthday, Anniversary, Baby Shower, Graduation, Housewarming, Party, and Religious Ceremony — each with its own sample content and share copy.
The problem
Wedding-flavored language showed up everywhere — the homepage, the nav, the dashboard, even RSVP reminder emails — making every other occasion feel like an afterthought bolted on.
A full copy audit, not a find-and-replace
We audited the entire public site and rewrote platform-level copy to be occasion-neutral, while keeping dedicated wedding pages exactly as wedding-focused as they always were.
The problem
Only Wedding, Birthday, and Anniversary had a real landing page. Everything else was only reachable by already knowing the right link.

Every occasion now gets the same polished landing page — curated designs, an FAQ, and a one-tap start into the editor.

The only template gallery was branded and positioned entirely around weddings, even though the same 25 designs already worked for any occasion underneath.

A new occasion-neutral gallery lets you pick what you're celebrating first, then browse the exact same catalogue with every preview reflecting your choice.
The problem
Starting a new invitation with no context silently created a wedding invitation, with no indication that's what was about to happen.
Ask, don't assume
The same entry point now asks what you're celebrating before creating anything — while every existing wedding-specific button keeps working instantly, exactly as before.
Weddings aren't going anywhere — they're still the occasion the product was built around first, and the dedicated wedding pages keep the same positioning and SEO they've always had.
But the builder underneath was always capable of more than weddings. This release is us catching the product's own positioning up to what it could already do — one platform, honestly built for every celebration.
